>It’s that time of year again when the sun doth shine and we sweat and sweat and sweat…You get the picture right?Hubby comes home after hanging with his bro and complains that it’s hot in the house!I’ve had the air on all day on MAX and it’s still warm in here!I told him go sit in someone’s house that doesn’t have air and then you’ll have something to complain about!Usually I only put the air on an hour before bed, or if were watching TV.For the past 2 weeks I’ve had it on constantly!I do turn the temperature control down to 8 at night, and it shuts on and off on it’s own.During the day I put it on 10 or max, with all the fans on in the house and I’m still warm!I take a dozen cold showers to cool off and drink lots of water!I’m finding that the heat is causing uncomfortable swelling in my hands and feet.I already have a problem with feet swelling due to circulation issues but this heat’s made it far worse!The best thing to do is take a break every hour or so and lay down on the couch and prop your leg and foot up!Place the pillow from the knee to the ankle then add a smaller pillow at the end to elevate your foot.I take this time to listen to some mediation music, or just lay there panting! LOLIt helps with the pain and discomfort.I haven’t figured out what to do with my hands! :)I was up every 2 hours last night to switch the wash.I do my laundry from 10 p.m till 7 a.m to save on hydro and because it’s cooler in the house at that time.The dryer heats up the house.  This is great for the winter time, saves on heating expenses. :)On those really cold days I’d put the dryer on and throw in my blankets and warm them up for 15 minutes before bed, or when I lay down to watch a movie, I like to snuggle in them.Daisy is great for keeping me warm too, but this week poor thing I’ve had to pull her off me because it’s just too hot to cuddle with my miniature poodle.She’s been whining all week, so I get her to lay on the floor beside me and I rub her belly or I’ll put the fan directly on me and let her lay on my side.I find I don’t get as hot that way! :)
