 I loved it when Kris Allen sang “Heartless” on his acoustic guitar alone on the stage of American Idol; the night before he won.  This recording has piano and orchestra music in the background in it.  Such music to my ears!  I’m really enjoying his new tunes, he should write some meditation music pieces as well.  A mixture of guitar and piano for our coffee shops, and sell them at Chapters, Tim Hortons, Coffee Culture or Starbucks.  I bet they would sell like hotcakes! If he makes more songs like “Heartless” it would make a great Christmas album to listen to while drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace.  Maybe he should start writing jingles for retail stores as well, I’d love to shop for lingerie while listening to Kris Allen’s sexy melodious voice.   

 Nice smooth acoustic guitar sounds, melodious voices and up tempo beat.  I would use this for dinner music, it’s kind of romantic sounding.  It almost reminds me of Mary Tyler Moore’s Music with the feel of the seventies, or was that the sixties?  Kris Allen sounds awesome with the acoustic guitar strumming along while he sings, “What’s Goin On.” I can just picture Kara Dio Guardi dancing with Paula Abdul in long flowing dresses at a cozy cocktail party. 

 Here is Adam Lambert’s Studio Recording of “No Boundaries.”   I’ve listened to both of them, and for some reason I get goose bumps from Adam’s.  Maybe it’s the high notes that he hits or something.  I love the difference in background singers.  Compare Kris Allen’s and Adam Lambert’s and see which one you prefer.  Adam really shows a range in this song, big time.  Poor Kris is getting a lot of flack from Hollywood, even though he won the title.  In his Tweets he mentions the rivalry of fans and doesn’t understand it.  He almost defends himself in a way.  Do you think he would be embarrassed if Adam Lambert happens to sell more records then him?  I hope they stay true as friends and rivarly doesn’t take it’s hold and cause bitterness.  I’ve seen that happen over and over again.  I used to be in a band, I know all about being jealous of another singer.  She was my best friend and I could sing just as good but she always got all the “great” parts because she was prettier.   It was so petty as a teenager, but then Faith Hill showed her dislike for Carrie Underwood before, so who knows eh?  Let’s hope for the best and support both of these guys.  They are having a blast together and so should the fans.  Instead of writing nasty notes on the videos about who you hate or love, why not praise each of them for being talented.  If it weren’t for Kris, we would have not had any suspense during American Idol.   

 This is the professional recording for itunes and sounds a hundred times better than on the night of American Idol’s Finalist Sing off between Kris Allen and Adam Lambert.  It’s cool to read what they twitter, they tell you about all the TV shows and interviews they are going to.  It’s wonderful to read about Kris’ Schedule and to see his enthusiasm as our American Idol.  It will be fun to watch him grow as a musician and come out of his shell.  Now he can work on social skills and learn to be less nervous and more comfortable with performing.According to his tweets he is co-writing the songs for his first album and plans to release it within a year.  Exciting news for sure!   

I was looking for Adam Lambert , Kris Allen  and Danny Gokey  on Twitter.  Kris is the one giving the information for the other two, which I find rather interesting.  It’s notes about how they are doing on tour and everything, kind of cool to hear it from the horses mouth.  I’ve also found Danny Gokeys – Sophias Heart Organization  and he’s apparently already working on his first album.  I wouldn’t be surprised with all the male testosterone, they will be competing to get their albums out.  Let the race begin, how shall we reward the winner?  Give him record sales?  It will definitely be fodder for the tabloids.  Honestly though it looks like Adam’s got the limelight following him every where he goes.  I’m sure we will be given every juicy tidbit of his personal life in the gossip magazines.  I doubt if Kris and Danny’s lives will be an open book, after all our dear Adam loves to act and be in the spotlight so he probably won’t mind TMZ following him around for the latest pic!

I was sent the Squidoo Lens of the Day made by Susan and she’s made 2 sites about Kris Allen.  I was surprised to find out he was a christian and a music director for a church!  Funny we all knew Danny Gokey was a music director but I didn’t hear a peep about Kris.  I guess you can say he really was a shy and quiet guy.  He’s already being raked over by Hollywood and they think he will fade in comparison to Adam Lambert.  That will only happen if they are both doing the exact same music.  In this case they are not, so it’s ridiculous for them to assume Kris will not make it as an artist.  He’s good looking, has a sexy sultry voice and knew how to rearrange “heartless” so that it was a totally new version and I’ll bet thousands will download it from itunes once they have heard it.  It’s pretty funny with all the publicity American Idol gets, there are a select few out there so busy with their own lives that they dont read the tabloids.  I wonder if Paris Hilton will make her move on Kris if she bumps into him?  She seems to think she can have any man she wants, will she go after Kris if he attends the Grammys?  He was the dark horse in this competition, no one saw him coming but he won for a reason.  I believe the Universe has a plan for Kris.  It will be interesting to see what it will be about.  Here are two sites to familiarize you with Kris Allen  and Kris Allen’s Music. 

 I love the harmony of Adam Lambert & Noa Dori’s voices in The Prayer by David Foster.  I can’t wait till Disney approaches Adam and asks him to do some voice and singing for a movie production.  He has the perfect narrator’s voice and can sing just about anything.  In this video, it almost sounds like “Opera” to me.  Can you imagine this in a recording studio without all the background noise?  Adam should record all his “former” songs and musicals for a demo CD.  I would call it “Adam Lamberts Road To Fame.”  That has a nice ring to it!  I love it when I come up with a fabulous idea.  Just let me look at my little “black book” and let’s see, who can I call?   I hate talking on the phone, so I’ll have Adam’s agent take care of it.  All these years and this marvelous voice, how come no one ever offered Adam a record deal?  They will all be kicking themselves when he starts making millions of dollars!  It’s rare to see people that have “immediate” star power!  I was looking at those gossip magazines today and guess what!  Miley Cyrus wants to tour with Allison Ireheta!  That is so cool for her, with the wicked voice and looks, we will be seeing more of our child prodigy. 

  

 I knew they would do it to us again.  The underdog wins again!  Last year David Archuleta delivered performance after performance and had the spotlight then at the end, David Cook took the title.  This year Adam Lambert delivered perfect performances through the whole season and he was plastered on every website, tv show and  blogs and Kris Allen got the title!  I kind of knew Kris would get the title.  He had the whole state of Arkansas at his home coming and they love to vote.  San Diego didn’t seem to show as much support for Adam Lambert.  I’d give anything to know the exact amount of votes, wouldn’t you?  Is there any way for us to sneak a peek and why don’t they ever advertise that info?  Now Ryan Seacrest did mention the fact that Not EVERYONE could get through to vote, do you think that had something to do with it?  Maybe the Kris Allen people tied up the lies so that the Adam Lamberts waited too long to try and vote and then it was done.  They didn’t get all their votes in, or did they?  I wonder if we could find out eh?  They had us completely convinced it would be Adam Lambert!  Even Simon Cowell was quoted saying that Adam Lambert was a shoe in for the American Idol title.  Did America discriminate against him because he’s bi-sexual?  Did it really come down to the nitty gritty?  Did Christian people vote for him regardless of his lifestyle?  They say that Danny Gokey’s fans backed Kris Allen and that’s why he won.  Did he win because he’s more talented or not?  My honest opinion is this, when they sang Kara Dioguardi’s song “No Boundaries” Adam struggled with it and sang a bit pitchy.  Kris was pitchy in parts but not as noticeable because he was singing in a lower key.  Kris played a guitar and a piano, and people watching the show for the first time would assume he’s a better musician than Adam based on that fact alone.I read some blogs where people said Adam could sing but they wouldn’t buy his records because he screaches so much.  I noticed if you compare his singing from “The Ten Commandments” and “Mad World” he does sing an octave higher.  I was glad when he sang “Mad World” for the finals that he picked the lower more subdued key, to show that he has a main stream voice.  He was perfect in the finals with that crazy black, metallic outfit on for his performance with KISS.  He fit right in with them, I could see him perform with any rock group even Marilyn Manson.  It will be interesting what “different” music Adam is planning to cook up in the future.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if he changed music altogether and started a totally new trend.  By his interview tonight on Idol Extra, he admitted to that fact.  Kris Allen will be singing love songs, ballads and reggae style music, it suits him. I must say though I loved how he changed Kayne’s song “Heartless” and did it just with his guitar. It was unique, different and innovative.  I expect to see Kris Allen coming out with his own style of other people’s songs and maybe a few of his own as well.  He didnt’ seem to think that he and Adam will be doing a duet any time soon because of their different tastes in music.  I’m looking forward to Allison Iraheta performing with Adam Lambert, they make the perfect rock combo!   

It was interesting watching Adam Lambert and Kris Allen singing.  Both say they are not competing for the number one spot and I found that refreshing.  It’s like last year where the two Davids were voting for each other to win, so cute.  I happened on a site that posts all the latest videos and news about American Idol Seasons it’s called American Idle .  I can’t wait till tomorrow nights 2 hour special on Fox/CTV (not sure which channel they seem to share it on Cogeco.)  I think Kris sang better tonight, so if anyone “new” was watching the show they just might vote for him because visually he’s playing a piano, a guitar and singing in a laid back relaxed fashion.  Adam was a bit pitchy with the one song but his performances through the whole season win hands down!  It’s going to be a close race, unless Adam’s fans decide to make him win by a land slide.  Can’t wait to see the results, it will be really interesting I’m sure!

 This would have been a great video if the guy would have made it more interesting.  The song “Rescue Me by Buck Cherry” is awesome, and good rock n roll sound but what’s with the static picture of EDGE?  Why not a good slide show of all the moves the guys did in Judgement Day.  I got to hand it to “Jim Morrison” for doing this splits, twist and landing he did, I gasped and said, “Cool!”  He did it from off the top ropes, wonder what they will call that move?  I love it when they do new moves, it makes the fights so much more interesting.  Did you notice that Jeff Hardy must be feeling it, he didn’t do too many flying jumps mid air dives this time.  I think he’s finally realized were kind of tired of the same old, same old moves and it’s time for buddy boy to do something new and unique.  I think he should approach Jim Morrison and get some pointers, before it’s too late!  You do notice that they referred to the move as “it’s like Jeff Hardy’s moves.”  If Jeff doesn’t do something quick his famous fly dive moves may be replaced by the Jim Morrison twisters!  I love Jeff Hardy, I just hope he learns some new stuff, because he was getting too predictable and this isn’t good because his opponents can use his own moves against him!
